![]() I own that pad and it is a little bit rough, but really good. I like to use my equipment as long as possible, so I would suggest going with the neutral black, uncoated one, which is now called the "Xraypad Aqua Control 2". My question remains though, what is defined as "normal use"? Going by other posts online, the coated version does seem to develop slow spots faster. That reminds me of the tiger e-sports pads I have, they look really cool, but using the mouse on them, you can feel the texture changing, when you move it over some of the printed parts. The printed pattern will not be worn out under normal use. The difference is not too big, you can buy as you like. I have messaged Xraypad about the coating, their reply was: I've researched a bit and narrowed these three pads down: Artisan Hein Soft, Aqua Control+ and Artisan Zero Soft as good/decent hybrids for the games that I'm wanting to play, or if anybody knows some better pads for what I want I'd love to hear! Can anybody share their wisdom with me so that I can have a good jack of trades pad, please? Oh, and if it matters, I'm going to go with the Razer Viper Mini.Īnd one final question: is it bad to go with the Aqua Control+ ROB Strata pad? I've heard that it's got a coating and that it wears off in no time, such a shame for a really nice looking pad! :( Apex Legends and Warzone are ideal for a fast pad when looking around because of the fast-paced nature of the game, but as for the other games I want to play like Valorant and CS:GO, I've heard that a slow pad is great for the whole nature of the game like flicking etc, but playing on fast pad I've seen that you can end up overshooting and not being able to have great stopping power, same way round for fast-paced games with slow pads, I've heard that they can feel too slow for the pace. ![]() I need some help to choose my ideal pad, the games I'll be playing are: Apex Legends, Warzone, Valorant, CS:GO and any other similar ones like the games I've listed. Hi there, I'm going to be building my first ever Pc around Christmas time, and just realized that mousepads sort of affect performance.
